I placed the Tropic tomatoes in the greenhouse today and each plant has an "understudy". I told them if anyone gives me trouble they will be canned, literally. I have no idea of what I am going to do with the extra plants though, as I am out of space.

Gee, the competition at your place is fierce Jack!
Maybe you could give the extras to friends or family?
I have a feeling they are all going to be on their best behavior now.

Maybe you could make sort of an off Broadway area in some pots or something outside the greenhouse! Just to see what happens.

My wife suggested putting a few in large pots and placing them around the deck. Also, our new postman lives at the end of the street and I see that he has a large garden, so I may welcome him to the neighborhood with a few plants.

So many of you have a lot of extra plants because you go crazy with seed starting. ;) You don't know how many times I wished I lived close to you guys so that I could get some plants!

If I give the plants away I ask for the return of the pots. Sometimes I get them, sometimes not.

No problem Jackb, I will always return them to you. :) I save the plastic pots but after a while I have to put them in the recyling bin because nobody wants them. :(
