I love Japanese maples, and have always wanted one. Unfortunately they don't survive the winters here so I enjoy seeing other peoples. Such a lovely tree.

Ooo Bummer . Ontario is huge has a lot of different growing zones and many other beautiful trees do well. it’s similar the palm trees I like. They don’t grow in my zone. I’ve tried to grow some that could grow in my zone in pots and then bring them in the greenhouse during the winter. That seemed to work a few years , not long term.
