Our shower door is a frosted glass slider. It was covered with hard water stains when we purchased the home. My wife and I have tried every off the shelf and home and eco friendly concoction to remove the water stains and found each and every one sorely lacking . :hit Has anyone found a product that actually works ? :hu

Try rubbing shampoo on and letting it stand. Then scrub. Will take elbow grease. Works for rust here (sometimes)
have you tried Lima Away? I found it awfully caustic and had trouble when I accidently inhaled a small amount of the power. So be careful.

I use a product called Lemi-shine in the dishwasher, for our very hard water here. It is in a granular form. It can be mixed with water to make a paste. Leave the paste on for a while, then rinse off. A little rubbing may be needed, but not much.. Be careful, it is pretty strong citric acid, but it works well. It can be found in the dishwasher detergent section at the store.

I got some cleaner for my windows from a glass store. The windows had discoloration from the aluminum screens.
