Well you'd be sleepy too if you'd been up since o'dark:thirty pruning apples,aspens,willows the odd paperbark maple and a Katsura or two!

Yeah lesa, she and her foal from last year have been hanging around for the last month or so, fortunately they have just been nibbling, nothing too damaging, although dogwood buds seem to be a moose delicacy so I have yet to see my tree in bloom. Moose can be very thorough!

Meeses can be cranky whenever they darn well feel like it, which is why all the pictures I have ever taken of them are blurry, my flight reaction is on high!

I laugh at the stories about them charging moving diesel trains. Seems there's something about the new style horn that sets them off. Can you say mooseburger? :lol:
