I call those "luck" eggs. I get very excited when I find one. I am still hoping for a green one. I never eat them. I let them dry out and display them in a birds nest.

That egg looks like it was laid by a Serama Hen, the world's smallest chicken breed. Couldn't believe how small these chickens were when I researched them.

Are you sure theirs a yolk in that small egg, maybe its like pay back from that double yolk egg you had :lol: .

I had one of those small eggs a couple of weeks ago. It had a yolk and was delicious.

What was interesting was that it was from my slw who started laying about 3 weeks prior. Before that she hadn't laid in about 1 1/2 yrs.!

When she initially started laying she only laid for a couple of weeks and her eggs had a sort of wave to them. But then she stopped and hadn't laid until this year. Her eggs are fine now and I hope she keeps laying. :fl
