Man-made?!!

The skiers should be at Lookout Pass where there is 69" at the summit or Schweitzer with 73" and more every hour.

It was snowing at 3:30am lightly ... and it is still snowing hard - here at home. Recent warmer weather and quite a lot of rain had nearly disappeared the snow in the yard. My paths were widening! This afternoon's temperatures were supposed to be a little warmer and some of this was to be rain but it didn't happen.

I hope some snow appears in both your locations. Get that snow making machinery off the mountain. And FlowerBug, I imagine that your ground needs some insulation.

yes, it is better to have soil moisture and snow cover during winter than the have no snow cover and freeze drying temperatures.

we've had plenty of rain the past day, so six to twelve inches of snow would be perfect. i need some exercise. :)

it's beautiful out today. fresh snow on the ground and horizontal snow in the air. not too bad though because we can still see the neighbor's houses... :)

we won't likely see 71 until April, but we've also had strawberries flowering on March 11th too one year. never know what Mother Nature is going to do.

@majorcatfish i hope you feel better soon!
