I went to the feed store and got a bottle of BT to inject into the squash vines. Now what? Is it straight BT? Do I mix it with water? How often?

From my reading/searching I get mostly just inject BT not much on amounts or the actual hows. Thank!

Check the last section of this link. It says to "mix....", but doesn't give mixing directions. Are there no mixing instructions on the bottle? This link has some good tips.

I had the exact same problem last year! I never could find a good description of the proportion of Bt to water. Then when I tried to inject the Bt/water, it all squirted out the other side, or wouldn't go in because there was no where to go inside the plant. I read that Bt would also help get rid of potato beetle larva, but again, I couldn't find how exactly you should use it, so I just ended up sprinkling it around my plants. I hope you have better luck than I do! :fl

Thanks! I injected the plants and hopefully will be able to save them this year. I was thinking of taking a year off from squash to let what was there hatch. But I will need to find another crop to replace it. I am thinking about soy beans! I love edamame!
