It was delightful to find some flowers are thriving in spite of the rotten weather. Here is a pretty petunia I picked up for 1/2 price late in the season. It was pretty ragged. I stuck it in a 10 inch pot, plopped it by the steps (so I remembered to water) and it flourished!!!
It is a Supertunia Pretty Much Picasso (Love the colors and the name.)

Carol that petunia is AMAZING!! I never could have turned that one down, my fav colors combined. I've never seen it around here, is it a new varietal? I'm going to have to hope they're around here next year!!

I saw it in a container planting but none left on the shelves last summer. And only found this one at the end of the season. But I wasn't really looking for any petunias. Both times it was a Thiesen's , a farm supply store. I will be looking for it again next year. :D

Gorgeous Carol, especially those petunias. Mine are spindly and sad looking. I needed to cut them back mid season, and just never did. :p Hahaha I'm SLACK!
