MY squash blooms are wilting before they bloom. I am trying to deny that idea of my head saying too much poop. could it be? Say it isn't so. I did find a slug....is he the culprit?

Do you have squash vine borers in your area?

I've lost a lot of vines to them over the years.
Now, when anything on a vine wilts I automatically think Squash Vine Borer!

Hmmm... I'd be worried its a pest too. Maybe try to tie in one or two of these plants to help deter these critters:

SQUASH: Companions: Corn, cucumbers, icicle radishes, melon and pumpkin. Helpers: Borage deters worms, improves growth and flavor. Marigolds deters beetle. Nasturtium deters squash bugs and beetles. Oregano provides general pest protection.

Check your vines!

Too much poop would cause nitrogen issues and I think it would probably be evident in the leaves. On most stuff nitrogen burn shows up as yellowing starting inside the leaf veins and spreading outwards easy to cure though just lots of water. Other than the pests (which is a good possibility) Squash blooms really don't stick around long. Maybe a day or two at best. Is it possible they opened up while you were gone one day? As soon as they are polinated they close up and start to wilt. Check the immature fruit behind the female flowers for rot/signs of insect damage

For as long as i've grown zucchini i've always had problems with the vine borer, actually last year i didn't have that many problems because of a few methods i used. I covered the stem part of the vines with aluminum foil which protects it from the borer to enter and it actually scares the adult borer fly when they try to lay their eggs on the leaves, the foil kind of discourages the fly from laying. I've also just bought a vegetable pest spray for vine borers and they seemed to go away. Squash vine borers only lay their eggs in the early summer by mid summer they usually stop laying their eggs so if you could just protect them from that time you should be ok.
