Starting Poinsettia From Cuttings?

DebFred's poinsettia post got me to thinking, can I start them from cuttings and if anyone has some thoughts please feel free to express them!!!

I'll try and remember to take my camera with me in the morning. I'm getting the cuttings off a friends plant they had on the counter of their shop for Christmas.
I've read some on this subject since I first posted and the main way to propagate them is by starting cuttings, BUT for them to be in bloom for Christmas they need to be started in late spring.
There are commercial growers that deal in poinsettia cuttings.
