storing bareroot strawberries

I overestimated my abilities today! I bought some bareroot strawberries, but didn't have time to get them in the ground. Looks like it might be Weds before I get them in. What's the best way to store them until then?

you can wrap them in a damp paper towel and place them somewhere cool for now.

Will the fridge be ok? Or is that too cool?

i think that would be fine. i remember reading somewhere that is a good method of keeping them dormant if you can't get to planting them right away.
