I have Facebook on my laptop, so I thought I would "let" it display on my phone, too. I soon found that the updates were quite annoying, and I don't really need it on my phone, so I looked for the "uninstall" button on the app.
Swiping, scrolling and tapping through possibilities, I accidentally changed the language to...I don't know...Arabic? Hebrew?
And since it is in a foreign language, I can't find my way back to change it back to English.
It's not the whole phone, just Facebook app. Not much on there worth reading in any language.

Clearly, I am having problems with my laptop, too. Can't delete this.

You can also delete from lap top. Should be able to change language as well.

So what is this, @so lucky ?

One issue, two threads!

Resolved the problem by yourself ... :) ... just appreciate that when you yell for help, eventually some shows up ;). And, @seedcorn , how's that stinging nettle rash?

Thanks everyone, for the suggestions. Sorry for the double post. My ability to post on TEG has been horrible lately. Constantly locking up. Maybe my computer is ready to be thrown out the window.

This little 7" tablet is so easy for me to use, although it requires a stylus ~ big digitS'.

Nearly 3 years old! About once a week, it's taken over by a pop-up! Likely it is related to that time when I thought it was "a message." It appeared on Photobucket and said it was "a message." I only clicked it once, then realized that it was an offer, obviously meant for @bobm.

It didn't actually say "bomb" but I knew it for what it was. (Dang spiel chequer!) Anyway, I was halfway there before I dodged off to brighter vistas, happier circumstances. Life took a turn for the better - although I missed the chance at the $2.4 million.

I shut it down "hard" and come back after the required 20 seconds, closing the offending tab before it can open. Has worked so far :).

I'm sure that after these years of use, prints of my little digitS are all over this thing despite my efforts to hold it at a respectful distance. Others' tendentious tendencies hamstrung DD's laptop, given to olde Dad, once it became unruly. There, it seemed it to had to do with the fashion industry, rather than a Golden Touch ... I took it out to the driveway, drove the truck over it, and dropped it in the trash for the g man.
