Mrs Piggy had 6 bacon bits!
2 males, 4 females.
They are hating how hot the outside world is!

Oh my goodness!!! If they were any cuter I couldn't stand it! Absolutely adorable. If I am ever going to raise a pig for meat- I better buy the pig when it is long past that level of cuteness!

I see one eye in the second set of pictures so I'm guessing YES they are born with eyes open. However, like human babies, I suspect their vision is poor for a short time after birth.

Very nice! What breed is your sow? Do you have your own boar? Dew and I have raised a few pigs in the past. Mostly Landrace and Durocs. If I can convince my few remaining neighbors to lift the "no farm animals" deed restrictions I would like to get a couple of pigs for butchering.

They are Potbelly pigs. But around here, you usually end up with the mini versions that do not get to typical PB size of 300#.
Have both mom n dad.
Piglets are born ready to go, they escape their sacks on their own, find a teat on their own, huddle together and even are potty trained from birth. They will wander away from the nest or to the edge of it to go pee and poo, then hurry back.
