Surprise jalapenos in my garden (pics)

I thought I tore out all of my pepper plants last Fall and addded them to the compost but when I started clearing weeds away in one corner darned if there wasn't a jallapeno plant still growing in there with three new peppers on it. Talk about an early start. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow morning and post it.
The light wasn't quite right but I managed to get some pics.

I was wrong. When I looked closer there are actually 8 new jalapenos coming on.

As you can seee the plant is making new growth as though it were Spring.

And one lonesome straggler, shriveled but still hanging in there from last Summer.

I'll save the seeds from that shriveled one. Maybe I can get a cool climate jalapeno out of it.

5" of snow on ground and another 12" coming and YOU SHOW ME GARDEN PIXS???? I'm dieing here not being able to do anything for another 4 months while you get volunteer crops........oh the inhumanity of it all. :D

Guess I'd better not post the squash, tomato and pepper plants going into the ground in a couple weeks here.......
