I think they must be wrong about the genius part because I just blew right through it and as you all well know, this gal ain't no genius.

I did this one and do a lot of them. Didn't you think it was pretty low level easy vocab? I get genus on history tests too-all I can say is they are too easy as I feel the most inept in historical knowledge. Dumbing down of Americans began long go. I was not trying to be offensive to your NYB. You know I adore you. We are geniuses together.

I find it extremely sad that they think knowing those words puts one in a genius category. Any child making it to the 6th grade should know the meaning of those words....if not, our education system has failed horribly since I was in school.

Yes it has.
I hire part time HS kids to help around our place. At times we do some construction work, and you'd be surprised how many can't read a tape measure, or figure an angle cut.
I could hand them almost any amount of money and they don't know if I gave them too much or not enough.
Nice kids but really not too smart.
And this has been about 6 different ones in the last 10 years.
