i'm not a shopper in any fashion, i make a list in my head and go for just those items and that's pretty much it. i don't browse, read labels, etc.

bookstore or library is different story...

Home depot plants have been terrible around here. I don't buy much anyway, but needed some annual plants for a pot. I can resist.

Usually I do stop at the garden center just to "look". I too went to Home Depot last night to look at fridges. Ours is on it's last leg. I was anxious to leave and start dinner so it was a quick stop and did'nt have any desire to go to garden section. It could also be that I don't need anything from there right now.

Don’t go to any store often but I do browse while there-unless in hurry or it’s a pick up.

Nope, not unless I have a reason to. I don't go to big or little box stores unless I have a reason. Some people might call me boring, I won't argue. I like to think it's called self-control. :p

I've started doing this lately. I always end up buying more than we need, and with another baby on the way it makes more sense to save money.

we bought our most recent fridge from them, they were the only place that had what we wanted (white, no handles, no fancy stuff in the door, top freezer and big enough to take up the space we had for it. we had to wait several months for them to make it and ship it from Korea. we are very happy with it as we got it for about $400 less than we expected (they had a sale going, plus the power company gave us a $50 rebate). i went in half with Mom for it for Christmas present for the both of us. lol

compared to the old refridgerator it runs a lot more but it is so quiet you don't notice it, plus it doesn't use that much electricity. in a few more years it will likely pay for itself. in the summer we have to set it to run a little more to keep up with heat, but in the winter we can set it at the lowest setting and it keeps everything as it should.

at first it was so strange with the bright LED lights in there, we were used to not being able to see stuff...
