Detlor, I'm been harvesting leaves from my swiss chard since February. Does that count? I had to pull them out last week because they were 3ft. tall and shading my tomatoes that were behind them. Everyone kept asking me what the giant things were. My daughter said it looked like something from another planet!

Oh the benefits of living in the South...
Of course, all of my cool season crops tanked this year, because we didn't get any cool weather.

I have rhubarb READY to cut, does that count?? :D it's the only thing i may possibly win 1st in, but i'm guessing others have already harvested some.
