Got that one printed up- thanks boggy. I like the idea of using worms from your own garden. Buying worms seems kind of strange...But then again, keeping worms in the house seems kind of strange too! I really want to do it- but I just haven't quite worked up the nerve! I can just hear my family- "pet worms!!"

I've found that if your compost pile is reasonably close to ground inhabited by worms they will find it on their own. I wish we had night crawlers here but I've never seen one. I've been thinking of importing some African night crawlers. They are said to be able to tolerate warmer soil. maybe they would be able to reproduce in my garden.
