The weather outside is frightful!

Right now its raining so hard here you can hear a freight train sound. They have called for tornado watches around me. I think I'll stay inside.

We had a tornado warning here in midlands SC, on Friday I think it was. Very out of season.....AND......SC sees few tornadoes as it is.

Its calmed down a little. Still getting a downpour then nothing then downpour. No hail so thats good. Rivers running thru my yard are gone. Debating on going out to the barn to get the eggs.

with only 7 hours left in 2018.... our rainfall total for the year is 73.18".....
this was back in august and yes we have had a few more like this though the fall

@Rammy where do you live? Here in Eastern IA it has rained all day in the low to mid 30's. Going to get COLD and SLICK. We have opted to stay home tonight.

Interesting. I grew up in the ridges a bit west of the Cumberland Gap pretty close to that border, also on the Tennessee side. A few miles outside of LaFollette. That's a long border though.
