I use AOL its what salesman signed me up for that sold me my first computer. I hate change, I know they are not the best. About a week ago AOL format changed, all of my stored passwords where lost. Now I can't find any of my photos. When I wanted to up load a photo here, I just clicked upload a file, all my photos would come up, I just click on photo I wanted (took me years to learn how). now I click upload and nothing happens.

Have you checked with AOL?

I don't know anything about AOL. Never used it. I do know that my Google account is changing 'cuz I keep getting notices about it. Have no clue what to do about it. All Greek to me. I rather guess I'm not all that big on change, myself. Change for a reason, yes, but if things are working, why change?

I seriously doubt that your photos are "lost" forever, just that it will take some assistance to find where they have been hiding all along.

The photos are in the same place they have always been. Not to worry there. Before, AOL had a system that would pick you up and drop you into the photo section. Now you will have to learn how to traverse the maze to get there yourself. My first step would be to call for technical assistance.

IF you labeled any of your photos, go to search. Type in name, do a search. IF on computer, it will find them. (search is found by hitting start button)

Where, exactly, do you upload your photos to? Obviously you have a camera. Which PC do you plug it into? Hopefully you don't upload all of them directly to an AOL server. That seems unlikely though. I'm not familiar with how AOL works, but if you tell me which PC you use to remove pics from your camera on, I can probably help you find them. What Operating System are you using?

Your pics are on your laptop. What version of Windows are you running? Check your "My Pictures" folder. Start--user--My Pictures...where user is the user name your logged in under. Or Start---type "My Pictures" in the search box without the quotes. Or, since most pics are loaded a JPEG you can also go Start--in the search box type .jpeg (don't forget the dot as in dotjpeg---.jpeg). This will bring up a very large list of pics on your PC. Simply right click on one of them, then click properties. Look at "Location" to get the path, ie...C:\user\mypictures\04-15-2015.jpeg

Trust me, your pics are not lost. AOL just can't find them.

ETA: Also, you Fuji camera may have come with software that loads the pics in a different folder. Kodak is good for that. I doubt that is the case though since you are using the MicroSD reader. The PC treats that like a drive and doesn't normally start separate software to read it.
