When the Picture of the Week is picked and loaded there seems to be a huge variance in when it appears on different members computers. Some people see it immediately, some not until mid week and for some it doesn't appear at all until a new one is picked.
I'm still seeing the one from 2 weeks ago.
Is this something to do with different browsers, or is it TEG specific originating in the platform?

Sorry if I used the wrong terminology. Computerese is similar to Latin for me, but less understandable.

It really has a lot to do with your computer browser's "cache" settings. Some computers / browsers will store the image longer to save on download time / bandwidth.

I'll see if there is a way to force the browser to not cache the same image after the image is swapped.

If you see an old POW and you know there is a new one, try clearing your browser cache and it should show up.

I'm still seeing Carol's corn stalks. This browser cache stuff sounds like Greek to me, not Latin. ;) I'll have my husband check on it.

if you want to quickly clear out that 'cache' to see the updated pic you could used the F5 key (if you use a PC you should have this at the top of your keyboard. on a Mac i have no clue what button to push to 'refresh' the screen.
