Garden Ornament
my daughter who lives in Atlanta sent me a toad house. i have had toads and frogs galore this spring. she also sent a bag of bugs - ladybugs that is. she knows her mom.
the instructions w/the lady bugs was to put them in the fridge until early evening. included was a tiny bag of 'nectar' to be mixed & sprayed on the foliage where i release them. then it said to lightly spray the bugs w/a mix of coke & water that will "glue" their wings so they can't fly. that holds them there for awhile until they decide if they want to stay there before flying off. the "glue" quickly wears off. who would have guessed such a thing. :rose
