What is that behind the asparagus?

Is that a flowering brassica and, did that go in the pot?

Yum! That's some good-looking asparagus and that chard has my mouth watering too. What kind of asparagus did you plant?

A purple variety, Martha Washington, Jersy Knight, and one that has a wierd scientific name a series of numbers and letters.

A little variety then. :) How do you like the Jersey Knight? From the catalog description, it sounds like the way to go.

They are all sweet and tasty, the Jersy seems to have the thickest stalks if you prefer the thicker ones.

Jealous does not cover it!! Nothing better than fresh, healthy veggies right from the garden. My seeds are sprouting- just a little more patience needed! Enjoy!

I saw some asparagus peeking up today. Nothing like you have! Very nice harvest there! I can't wait to get some spears for the grill!
