One of my seedlings in the greenhouse is already flowering, but I can't put them out in the garden for a few more weeks. Should I pinch it off, or leave it??

Personally, I would pinch it.

I left some tomato plants with both blossoms and tiny fruit last year because setting them out came so late in 2011 (and, I started them very early). I've long removed any fruit as soon as I notice it but decided that it might be worth seeing how some of those plants would do. It slowed their growth. That is, they were smaller plants throughout the season.

Some gardeners go to real pains to remove ALL blossoms when setting out.

It will probably give you a very early fruit. If you are only growing a few plants pinch it off as it may stunt the plant. But if you are putting out a lot of plants why not have the earliest tomato in town?

I have about 20 tomato plants out in the garden, but I'm new to this. Why and when should you pinch off the blossoms? I have a few blossoms on there now...should I pinch them?

Once they've got their roots out of tight little plastic containers and

. . . growing down into the Earth . . .

I pretty much let them do what they want to do!

DON'T PINCH OFF THE BLOSSOMS!
That is only advice for a plant that is still indoors and blossoming too early. You can pinch of extra suckers at any time. Most people do. I don't bother because it's a lot of work and I still get enough tomatoes for several families.
