I have not tried this, but Mountaintopchicken posted a suggestion over on the chicken forum that I thought some here might be able to use now that tomato season is in full swing for many of us. It is currently at the bottom of this thread.

The suggestion is that if you dry the tomato skins and seeds powder dry then put them in a blender, you wind up with a powder that has intense tomato flavor that can be added to anything you want to have a tomato flavor.
