I skimmed it and will read it at lunch but so far am thrilled with idea of doing anything to get that perfect tomato

so thank you so much it looks great and I am ok with the fishheads! I have a friend who does a lot of fishing here at work who will hook me up with as many as i want for soup so I am sure I can get more for the garden if I ask :)

thanks so much for this! great article!

Wow-wee,

She certainly has this down to a science. Of course she has an incredible greenhouse situation.

I am a composting crazy person. So from what she lists as her ingredients is just as I have except I could use some bone meal. The only difference is her composting is going on under the plant, whereas I add the mixture as compost.

I do like that she is able to reuse stuff from a restaurant. I wonder if a barter of tomatoes for scraps might be a good bargaining tool for convincing a restaurant in participating in scrap collections.

The most incredible looking thing to see is those little "Black Cherry" tomatoes towards the lower portion of her blog. Incredible.

I will have to revisit her site and see if she has a seed exchange thingy going on.

Hattie

it is a shame you are so far away from me. I would love to bring over my backhoe and help you dig all those tomato hole so you could fit all that stuff in it  She might grow some good ones but I can't help but think there might be a little over kill on a few of those things but you never know!
