Tomatoes

Helped Monty in the garden a little yesterday. He tied up the tomato plants and did some pruning on them. Remember how he said I wasn't allowed to have any green ones???? Guess what HE picked FOR ME the other day????? Two green tomatoes!!!! I fried one up yesterday for my lunch!!!!! MMMMMM it sure was good.

Anyway, Looks like we are going to have some tomatoes ready for canning in a week or two......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not wait until I don't have to buy tomatoes, green bean, corn ect at the store!!! I love how the garden saves us some money!!

Hope you get ripe tomatoes soon! I refuse to buy those gassed red baseballs that masquerade as tomatoes.

We will be canning fools when they are ready!!!!! There are quite a few that will ready out there soon.
