Too late for zuchinni and cucumbers?????????????

I live in Central Missouri and am wondering if it is too late for cucumbers and Zuchinni?

No you should be good, they grow rather fast and produce fairly early so you should still have some harvest this year! :D

I know the zucs are about 50 days to maturity. Cukes are about 50-70 days. Here in my area, I have about 100 days left in my growing season. It's usually not a bad idea to start a second or third later planting of those crops anyway, because eventually they peter out or get mildew and a fresh crop will produce better. You should be good to go, as long as you have enough days to maturity left. :)

LOL, sorry! :lol: You know, after spending some time here on TEG, I'm starting to get a little perspective on what it's like to garden in other parts of the country...outside of my little world with 4 seasons here in WV. ;)

No worries I was just giving you a little grief cause you've got the weather. We have 4 seasons here too, but we don't get the heat that you get in the summer so it can make for a bit hope, and blind faith at the end of the season.
