My melon patch has gotten overgrown & is now coming out all over. Is it OK to trim the ends of melon vines? They are already loaded with flowers & small melons, so I'm not worried about fewer melons. Will I cause any problems by cutting some of the ends of the vines off?

I'm sure its ok. On a thread I read that snipping off the tips of the vines keeps the fruit sweeter. Don't let your melons take over. Snip some vines if it's necessary.
