The cord on my phone charger unplugs from the end you put in the wall and then plugs into 'puter's USB slot. Pics will download automatically. Don't remember/pretty sure it didn't take any extra steps that were not provided by PC.
Good Luck! Can't wait to see the truck!

I have done that, but mine takes an extra step which I am ignorant of. Kid#2 says it's like the way I used to do my camera card, but apparently I'm too dumb to figure it out on my own. So for now, until the kid can tutor me on one of his dinner visits I just send them to my email, then send them to my downloads. It's a pain.

An easy way, download drop box onto computer and iPhone. Then just send photos to drop box. Once connected to internet, automatic down load. You can also send "invites" or "share" (forget terminology) so if it is a large file that won't email, drop box will share it.

You can organize files as well using drop box. Plus drop box does not eat your memory.

Basic drop box is free with decent amount of memory.

Is "Drop Box" a program/app?
