I had the website where I found this picture in a tab for days, wanting to share it. Couldn't think how it was useful.

The author of the blog noted that these were "agricultural buildings" and had others, silos and such. He is an artist and impractical by training ;). I'm just a nut.

How the original photographer found all these buildings in such a similar setting, I can hardly imagine! There must have been a village ... somewhere.

Well, the name of the photo in my tablet gave me the photographers' names: Bernd and Hilla Becher. The history on this thing only goes back 2 days, I guess.

If you click their names you will find a couple of these same buildings and some water towers :rolleyes:. Wikipedia got me to that page but not too much else with that page's dead links.

I doubt if water towers are of interest to very many folks ;).

Edit to say: I was surprised by their ages. Hilla is still around. Some of these barns may be also.
