My cousin is getting married, in a few days now. She will soon have two young step daughters.
I decided as a wedding gift to make them matching aprons.

Here are the two I have done so far... I used an Aunt Martha iron on design.
I used a combination of embroidery and applique on the designs.

First one

I am thinking of going over the light blue flowers with a shade or two darker blue floss.
The blue is not showing up very well, though the thread matches the blue in the fabric.

Cute! I love those iron-on embroidery patterns, I use them all the time. I think I have that same one.

That's so thoughtful of you to think of the stepdaughters...
beautiful work rebbetzin!
My first thought was to make some seven day dish towels. Then, one morning two weeks ago, I woke up with this apron idea for my cousin and her new step daughters. Something to make the girls feel special at what must be a rather stressful time for them.

I think these will do the trick. Nothing makes you feel more special than to receive something so beautiful that is handmade. Very nice! Now I am wanting one too! :)

that will be a really nice gift. The gifts I like the most are the ones somebody took the time to make for me, it says that they care.
P.S superb craftsmanship!!
