Looking great! Are you going to transplant, or let them grow in the pots?

Everything will have to grow in pots. We have learned that the soil here doesn't grow things well. We planted the cabbage in the ground and that looks horrible. It is hardly growing at all.

Nothing wrong with container gardening! We have a recycle center that makes compost (from yard waste, Xmas trees, etc.) It is very reasonable. A pickup truck full is 12.00. After one season, it is very beautiful dirt, filled with worms... I wonder if you could find something like that near you? Then, you could start building the soil up? Do you have chickens? Manure is always good...At any rate, enjoy your containers- I am growing strawberries in a pot and I am thrilled so far! Enjoy!

Those veggies look awesome! Container gardening is fun huh?! Broccoli is something I can't grow here in Florida now..When it gets to hot the plant just dies...I'll be growing it during our winter tho' I hear they love frosty type weather..
