Need some advice...one wall of my garden is a metal, beige painted wall 8 feet tall. I am in NW Arizona so that metal wall gets hot in the summer. Is there a veggies I can grow up on a trellis against this metal wall.
Thanks for the advise.

Arizona folks can feel free to correct me, but I'm going to say No. Metal shed walls get too hot to grow things up very well in the Northeast, even, let alone *your* version of summer :p

The only thing I could think of would be to maybe put a very lean-y (like, 45-60 degree) trellis going to the wall from a good ways away, and try growing smaller melons or something like that on it, with burlap or shadecloth put on the as-yet-unused part of the trellis to prevent the wall from hotting up too much. This is guess, not experience speaking here.

Good luck, have fun,

Pat
