Banfield Pet Hosptal, now the world's largest veterinary practice, is moving to their new state of the art corporate digs in East VAncouver, Wa. this coming Monday . ( about 12 miles from our house ) The cutting edge 206,000 sq foot building will feature a 3 level dog ramp, a dog park,abundant open and enclose gathering spaces and no offices. It will house 650 people and 175 of their dogs. Banfield owns and operated 925 Veterinary hospitals in all 50 States with 16,000 employees, and is affiliated with PetSmart, as well as pet insurance with 2 million pets covered. Last year they treated 70 million dogs and 75 million cats. They plan in opening 40 more Vet hospitals this year.
