Water Crystals Do Help

last night was the first time since July 2 that I was at country house. I was sure my window box would all be dead. There under eves so no rain sprinklers don't hit house. 2 are in full sun most of the day. I was surprised they where still alive, they looked ragged but alive. Gave them all long drinks. I am sure the water crystals helped. One year I did not use and was a nightmare of dead plants. Not sure how orchard doing was getting dark no lighting there.

That good to know, I case we decide to take a vacation this year. I have heard that they do work pretty good. Glad to hear your plants weathered the dry spell.
