Whew! I didn't know if I was going to get this done today or not, but here is the garden blogger link-up I talked about doing the other day. Linky Tools is so cool and easy to use too! You guys should check it out (if you blog).

Really, the hardest part was creating a banner in photoshop. :th

Even if you don't blog, you are welcome to do the weigh-in with us! Just post your numbers in the comment section. I'm curious to see how much all those wheel barrow loads of tomatoes weigh. I do know I had 255 pounds of watermelon last year. I'm going to track the monetary value of my harvests too, but that's optional...

Check it out and let me know what you guys think...

ETA: For the record, I don't make any money off of my blog and I don't have a business or anything. I just blog for fun and to journal my garden, bees, chickens, etc. ;)

Thanks guys, I hope everyone will have fun with it!

nachoqtpie, I'll be sure to update this post title each Monday to remind everyone.

Jared77, sure, you are welcome to use the banner. I tried to make it pretty...LOL. It's a "quilt" of veggie pics from my previous year's gardens. The pattern was called "country farm", so I thought that was fitting! I put in some grab code on my blog's sidebar or you can just right-click it to save.

That Linky Tools site is really easy to use. I was suprised how easy it was. I think it looks really professional too! You don't have to sign up with them to link to the weigh-in, but you might find it useful someday if you think of some topic you want to do for a link-up. They give you a 30-day free trial, then it's only $2/month after that and you can cancel anytime. When the garden's done for the year, I'll be scratching my head for what to use it for the winter months. Not much goes on here in the winter! :p

I've been participating in a couple of blog link-ups for a month or so now. I like them because it helps me think of things to write about. And they make it easy to find blogs to visit that share your interests.

I wanted to add too (and I edited it to clarify on my blog post) that you can still link-up your garden post, even if you don't have anything to weigh-in for that week. I know we're all in different areas and growing seasons and some of us don't have anything to harvest just yet. So that way everybody can still participate if they want to. I didn't want to leave anyone out. If you don't have a blog, you can weigh-in in the comments section too.

Seems like things are finally starting to ripen in my garden. Don't forget to add your weigh-in/garden update ! I found a free linky tool and even though we've been off to a slow start, I'm going to keep the weigh in going throughout the summer and into the early fall. Hope everybody can join in! If weighing your produce is too tedious for you, that's ok, you can still give us your update.
