Well, Bust my Buttons...Moss Roses came back!

I put moss roses in a small streetside bed last year thinking that they were annuals and I would have to bid them adieu. Yet, this year, I have tiny ones growing in the same spots!! Mightily and happily surprised!!

Most of mine in the rock garden along the pond return each summer. Growing up the neighbors always had moss rose by her back door. Came back on their own every time.

While Moss Roses are listed as zone 6 hardy, I have had them survive for a few years here in south-est, central-est Wisconsin. Eventually they all did die out.

I have never had them reseed, but don't see why they couldn't, under the right conditions. Having petunias reseed was wonderful enough for me!
