I'm trying some Moon and Stars watermelons this year.

The leaves have spots and I just knew they'd been attacked by some sort of malady.

But then it dawned on me... maybe the leaves are speckled too.

Sure enough, they are!

I have moon and stars seeds. I think I have a few in the starter flats. Good to know the leaves are SUPPOSED to be spotted so I wont freak out :D

Pretty! I've been wanting to try those moon and stars too. Come back and let us know how they taste!

It's been a while since I grew watermellons. They take so darn much room. Maybe I can get a vine or two in this year. I live alone so it will probably be sugar baby; just right for one person.
