Is this safe to do? I have it plugged from my potting shed with direct-bury cable and run to the greenhouse with a plug outlet.

Well I am sure some will disagree , but I have the same kind of set up that I have been doing for years and have never had a problem..
It would be better if it was a direct connect. Believe me you could have done worst. Hope this helps

It looks fine to me. I'm a little concerned that you did not use GFI receptacles though. There is a shock potential in greenhouses due to water and damp footing.

Uh oh! I had no idea about a GFI receptacle! The fella at Home Depot told me this would be good! :( Well, if a shock potential is the case, I'm going back to HD!

eta: what is a GFI receptacle?!

The GFI has a built in circuit breaker, that trips in an instant and can save your life...it is used in bathrooms and around kitchen sinks
It should be used anytime moisture is around..
Make your trip back to HD you will be glad you did, as will all of us in this forum...the cost should be around 10 to 15.00 for a good one
They are well worth the money..
Good luck and don't forget to unplug before you change out the plug

Don :fl

BTW: i't glad smiles remember to say something and sorry I didn't think of it myself

Just a waste of money, IMO

I lived and worked around electricty for 50 yrs. before I ever had to use a GFI, and I still won't unless there will be some kind of code inspection!!!!
