Looks like some sort of leaf hopper but I don't know enough about the family to recognize which one. They're a true bug in that they suck the juice from the plant.

I'm pretty sure its not a caterpillar Beavis, 6 legs, and the body is slightly segmented!

It may not be a leaf hopper, but it is a nymph of some insect. I will continue my search! It is doing visible damage to my beans... and I think this has something to do with my green beans not producing anything this year!

:)Thank you beavis! :hugs I had no idea where these things were coming from. But I am surrounded by Soy fields, so that makes PERFECT sense. I think they are pretty much harmless as my crops are done at this point and the foliage is already dying back to dry my beans. Its not worth a battle so late in the season.
