With seed companies selling out this year, I anticipate a similar situation next year. That is why I am shopping NOW for seeds for next spring.

What are you buying?

What grew well and what do you consider a lost cause?

For me the long leaf tong ho was a waste of money. Hardly any leaves developed. I also had a couple of strains of melon that never grew once I transplanted them (Petite Gris was one).

I won't be buying until Fall, at least late fall.... I can go through all the clearance seeds online

I don't think I'm too happy with the corn I bought last year... its yummy, but it was small and really ugly looking.

I will be ordering some fall bulbs in the next month or so for sure though!!! :)

I know parkseed have there $1 clearance seeds listed by October/November.

I have had better germination with theirs then anyone else's.

Everything they have on clearance is stamped (Packed for 2009 season) so they really aren't THAT old!

:D With the parkseed $1 section... which is up now still.... some things start at like $0.75 and up! And these are not like 10 seeds for the garden veggies and fruit and stuff.

I bought that corn, 300 seeds for $0.95... and I got my spinach for $1.35 for 700 seeds... and I got 100 germination on that spinach!

I bought a few seeds from Baker Creek for my warm fall season. I am over corn both sweet and pop. I want to increase my space for winter squash and watermelon. This is mostly cause I garden with a 4 yr old and the bigger the better for him. I want to catch his interest early.
Next season I want to do more than just veggies. I have never done any flowers and I want to incorporate them into my landscape as well.
