I have never seen this in the garden before. These are dandelion leaves. Just a few spots here and there. These were picked next to a tomato plant that is not looking good.

No bugs. I was wondering about mineral deficiency. The other spot where the dandelion leaves are, there is mustard, Swiss chard and collards planted and they all look fine. No other kinds of weeds have this on them.

Don't think it's a nutrient defiency as they don't show up as spots. Guess is a disease. Think Hoodat nailed it.

Tobacco mosaic is a very persistent virus, Hard to get out of garden soil. Mustard seems immune to it and can actually help other plants withstand it when used as a companion plant.

Thank you for the information. That is interesting about mustard. I used mustard in between rows of beets and Swiss chard. The leaf miners have not done any damage, but in another area of the garden I have lettuce and Swiss chard and the leaf miners have done a lot of damage and had to spinach.
