I am in central Florida and done with the first planting and now I can't find anything to grow because of all the rain. So what is your gardening schedule for Florida???

You might try talking to your county extension agent, in the phone book under county government. Here in Arkansas, I got a phamplet from the extension office that gives an annual calendar of what to plant when. It has been very handy. When I called in with a specific questions, I was sometimes put in touch with local experts that have ties to the local extension office here. My questions have not always been answered satisfactorily, but I have found the extension office to be a great resource.

Containers! :) Grow as much as you can in containers. They're easier to manage in a wet year (you should still set up some kind of auto watering system and check it regularly, though) and won't waterlog or drown like plants in the ground will.

Good luck, ahve fun,

Pat
