We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.
It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and *when* to eat the fruits.
What is the correct way of eating fruits?
IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!
FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH
If you eat fruits on empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.
FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.
The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the bread taken before the fruit.
In the meantime the whole meal of bread & fruit rots and ferments and turns to acid.
The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.
So please eat your fruits on an *empty stomach* or before your meals !

Every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc.. etc..
Actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.
The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat !
Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will *NOT* happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.
There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter.
If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the * SECRET * of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.
When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only * fresh* fruit juice, NOT from the cans, packs or bottles.
Don't even drink juice that has been heated up.
Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all.
You only get its taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.

Tiny but mighty.
This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber.
Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.
APPLE:
An apple a day keeps the doctor away?
Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.
STRAWBERRY:
Protective Fruit.
Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging and free radicals.
ORANGE :
Sweetest medicine.
Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.
WATERMELON:

Some people have odd ideas. If it works for them, I say fine!
The problem with most "far out science" is that the articles contain just enough proven information, that it lends an aura of credibility to the entire piece.
I thought by the title you were going to show that silly bit on Dr Oz from a month or so back, when he tried to show the easy way to peel an orange, which made it much harder. o_O

As of late, Mak's success rate is about 80% in curing cancer...greying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an emptly stomach. Hey, us diabetics would have a sugar high meltdown following this cure !!! Then too, I guess that Mak has not learned that greying and balding , etc. is controlled by one's genetics. This guy and dr. oz are nothing more than snake oil salesmen. :rolleyes:

I am so glad I misread the beginning before reading the story. Here's what I got first:
Massage body with eating fruit on empty stomach. As I started reading I wondered how the benefits of the fruit migrated through the massaged body into the stomach. The mental picture was pretty funny.

Then I read the story. Bummer! I'm gonna die!

I may as well say this here.

The idea that a diet with less processed foods is likely to be more healthful, makes sense to me. Some diseases should be less likely.

I didn't start eating 3 servings of fruit each morning before any other foods with the idea that by doing so, I was avoiding cancer. I have no idea what these people would think of the multi-grain cereal or toast I have immediately after.

I like fruit and eating a good amount before anything else for breakfast seemed like a good way to increase the amount in my diet, reduce the consumption of processed and higher calorie foods, and avoid excess body weight.

I usually try to eat a banana or some pineapple, when we have it around, in the morning. Like @digitS' said the focusing on unprocessed foods makes sense as a healthy lifestyle, but like @so lucky says "articles [of this nature] contain just enough proven information, that it lends an aura of credibility to the entire piece."

People that focus on unprocessed foods, or rather focus on not consuming processed foods, are likely to make other choices along those same lines in other facets of their life, and a certain percentage of them won't get cancer. Whatever. As backpackers say Hike Your Own Hike (HYOH), but in this vein I'd say Live Your Own Life. Either way I enjoy a cold beer or 6, so I guess I'm screwed :)

This reminds me of something I read a few years ago where someone said that certain foods we normally eat together should not because it made an acid environment and "these foods need an alkaline environment to be correctly digested." I wanted to scream "a digesting stomach is an acidic environment BY DEFINITION!"

I also found this persons list dubious because to eat the combinations he said one should in the amounts one should with the separations in time between them one should it would in fact be necessary to eat something like 18 separate meals per day! Most of them nauseating (melon mixed with raw meat, for example)

There are also ideas I have heard like the 'perfect minimum" diet (this one says that you should control your total food intact so it matches PERECISELY to what you body can immediately absorb, not one milligram more or less.) On the surface, their logic seems sound (if there is no extra your body doesn't have to go through the stress of disposing or storing it) But I can see no feasible way of putting such an idea in practice short of living ones whole life in a lab where your precise metabolic and digestions rates can be constantly monitored (not to mention that "precisely balanced with your consumption" basically means "perpetually one hair's breath from actual starvation"). In fact about the only way I can imagine it working would be something like the device I imagined in the hospital during a depression fugue as the "correct" method of dealing with diabetes; a combination insulin/glucose-nutrient pump that would be permanently implanted in you and monitor your blood sugar every second of every day, dispensing insulin and nutrient solution so as to keep the balance perfect (and thereby making any eating or drinking unnecessary.)

I'm a nurse, have worked oncology and the other end of cancer...hospice. I'm more inclined to believe everything stated here than that any other more accepted "cancer cure" will work.

I'd say, don't knock it until you've tried it. ;) I've~personally~seen some amazing things done for people's health by certain changes in diet and many of those changes were similar to or the same as was described here.

It was hard to believe it~from a nursing stand point wherein we are taught that certain things don't even have a cure~ until I actually saw it, but I saw it and now I'm a believer.
