Greenhouse Gardener's Companion by Shane Smith: "There are Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter cactus. The easiest way to tell the difference is by looking closely at the leaves. Christmas cactus leaves have smooth, scalloped edges. The Thanksgiving cactus has teeth along the edges of the leaves that are more pointed. The Easter cactus has a thicker, slightly more upright leave and often has purple or maroon color along the leaf edge."

Hope this helps. :/
