Topiary can be a lot of fun and they bring good money if well done. I used to have a wading bird with long legs and neck that stood over 6 feet made from Eugenia. A fancy landscaper made me an offer that was too good to refuse and unfortunately I lost my pictures of it.scottaleger said:

Hey, hoodat- I've got Eugenia this year for the first time. Just the 3 balls type. I am really enjoying them ( and wondering where the heck I am going to put them this winter!!) I was worried about trimming them- but it seems the new growth is a reddish color, so it is easy to get it back into shape. Would have love to see your "bird"!
