What kind of bush?

DD went to get a free bush and the lady does not know the name, but said it gets pink flowers.

And that phone is a lot smarter than i am, guess that’s what makes it a smart phone.

The leaf edges are a bit dissimilar to mine, but possibly Hardy Fuschia. Hummingbirds love them. Not 100% confident.

@Gardening with Rabbits Another guess on your new shrub. Looking at the leaves on the sample pic leaves look opposite on stem, simple, dull blue-green leaves, whitish below. Are the leaves fragrant when crushed. If so your free bush could be a caryopteris plant - common name ‘Blue Bead’, flowers blue appear next to the leaf nodes on the stems, & blooms from early summer to fall.

Thank you all. I will check it when spring comes and see what it looks like. I hope it made it through winter. It did transplant okay and lived through the summer.

I agree. I think it's a Japanese Spirea.
