I need to know what type of tomato will grow up-side-down in a hanging bucket. I see pictures of people's tomato plants, but want to know which variety does best? I have Sweet Millions, but maybe it gets to "tall".
I think your sweet millions will be fine "upside down". In my experience they do not get nearly as large grown in a container...Remember, you cannot hang them where the wind will blow them into anything..I had a beauty on my deck and a windstorm blew the plant into my siding and broke it right off. Free standing will work out fine. Good luck!
Thanks guys. I planted them last night and they are "hanging" in the garden. I did have it next to my garden fence so I put a wire around the bucket and post so on windy days the bucket is stable. I will tie it to the fence is it get too long. I can't wait for good tomatoes!!!!
