What Would You Do ?

Everyone at work is a morning coffee drinker, no one drinks coffee after 9am. A very good client comes in every 3 weeks for her dog to be groomed. When she picks up her dog around 3pm she always brings 6 large starbucks coffees for everyone. Every time I tell her thank you but you really don't need to do it. No one drinks the coffee, at the end of the day I pour 6 cups down the drain. Starbucks is not cheap, I feel like every 3 weeks I am poring $20 down the drain. She is a very nice woman who I like a lot, I just can not figure a polite way of saying stop bring in coffee. Would you say something or keep quite and just keep throwing away?

Say something. Imagine how hurt she would be IF she ever found out you were pouring it out.

Just be honest and tell her you are all morning drinkers and that you hadn't said anything prior because you didn't want to hurt her feelings. You wanted to be honest with her so you are now mentioning it. Give her suggestions what she could bring instead.

I feel so restricted in my coffee drinking that if the coffee showed up before my self-imposed 4pm

I'd probably drink all 6 by myself.

Would they drink something else? Maybe she's picking them up because she is getting herself something there at that time of day. Don't they have something iced? What about suggesting that - if she insists in bringing something, that maybe something cold would be nice after the crew has worked all day?

Just a thought, put them in the fridge and warm up in microwave in the morning, this works for us.
